Sponsors for this years summer Olympics are thought to be targeted next by human activists. Coca-Cola and McDonald's are the two biggest companies to support the Olympics. Activists believe that they are making progress after their protests with the torch relay in London, Paris and San Francisco and that targeting the large corporations in support of the summer games is the next step. Activists are asking the companies to press the International Olympic Committee and China to change and follow through with their promises. Activists say that if the corporations do not comply the backfire will be that they will get physical protests, letters, as well as people turning away from their corporations.

This article is important because with the summer Olympics coming upon us quickly all eyes are on China. People want China to change their ways and those that are watching want to know what the Human Activists are going to do next. The Olympics are something that is international and important to every country. The Olympics are something that also obviously important to the athletes who train their entire lives to be able to compete. With this factor in mind, know what is going in China is extremely important to everyone in the world right now. (The Guardian 4/23/08)

The Article that I found to be the most interesting was about teenage depression. The article stated that every one in four teenagers are depressed. The Children's Society charity is who conducted the survey and they stated that these days’ teenagers do not only have to deal with pressures at home but at school also. After surveying 8,000 people, between the ages of 14-16, 27% said that they feel depressed. After talking to parents, 55% thought that children were less happy today than when they were children.
